[Project Video Goes Here] Big cities have serious errors that hinder our quality of life. And over half of our world’s population is now living in cities. Common things like the all-time-classic car traffic and air pollution to more explicit things like a corrupt mayor, a deeply chaotic urban planning, the ignorant people who still throw garbage out of their car window, the piles of dog shit waiting for you around the corner or simply, the lack of kindness to each other. Life in a city full of errors is a cross media platform that offers the possibility to dig out, record, share and then go out and fix the errors of your big city. All kind of errors experienced, by all kinds of people. People like you. It is also a cross-media platform can be used by any city simply by adjusting it’s content. We, are currently working to apply it on a very extreme example. A place that is often referred to as the cradle of western civilization and, more recently, of the European financial crisis. A city that has all the problems that most cities of the world have, put together in one place. The city of Athens. Chaos city. In short this is what we are doing in this pilot project: We take Athens and we create a website with a virtual map of the city, in which you can navigate, explore and play around. If you’re thinking virtually reality then don’t. We don’t have the money for that. Our map is sort of the kind you would find in a comic book, inaccurate, fun and black and white. Now focus-in our black and white map there are 10 active points: colored spots(may be buildings or city squares or roads or even cars) that you can click on. These spots hide something that you are now only a click away: very short documentary films of a city on the verge of chaos. Documentaries created by us the filmmakers that are based on individual experiences of, different people, in one day in their life and that when put together create a very basic backbone of the problems of that city. So you are on your pc or mac browsing the map, watching the videos, thinking how fucked up the world is and feeling incapable of doing anything about it. But you are not. You do have something to say and we want to give you the space in our map to say it. And this is were The Game begins.
